Archaeologist | Scholar

Picture

Hi! Welcome to my site.
I am an archaeologist specializing in the administration and ceramics of ancient East Africa and East Mediterranean. I am fresh off a year-long research post at the Museum of Fine Art, Boston as Terrace Research Associate and Consultant for the Egyptian, Nubian, and Near Eastern Art department. In 2023, I received my doctorate in Archaeology from the University of Oxford. My thesis explored the application of communities of practice theory to clay sealing data from Giza, Egypt. I have served in various roles on excavations in Sudan, Spain, and Israel. Currently, I am the ceramicist for the Sanam Temple Project, Sudan. I speak publicly about the importance and excitement of archaeology and hope to work with students who want to become archaeologists.
